EcceOlio is a digital service composed by an app and a website aimed at: (i) supporting the promotion of innovations for increasing the sustainability in the control of olive fly (e.g., conservation biological control); (ii) supporting farms in marketing through the valorisation and the dissemination of the characteristics of farms managing their olive groves with sustainable practices. EcceOlio supports the monitoring of olive fly infestation and the visualization of the data in the website. The app allows farmers to enter data about their farm in four main sessions: (i) farm data: main farm data, including for example localization, email, social accounts, pictures; (ii) productivity data: e.g., cultivated olive varieties, packaging, type of oil, selling methodology, possibility of testing on the farm; (iii) sustainability of olive growing: checklist for the auto evaluation of the level of sustainability of olive growing in the farm; (iv) oil quality: data on chemical and sensory properties of the produced oil. In the website all the registered farms are visible in a map. For each farm it is possible to visualize the data inserted through the app and at each farm is assigned a QR code usable for marketing purposes.
